COURSE BACKGROUND
Access to potable water has come to occupy the centre stage of infrastructural development of all tiers of government, individuals and private organizations. In particular due to high cost of executive and maintenance and climate change, groundwater development is continually gaining top priority over surface water development.
There is the need therefore for adequate capacity development in the groundwater Development Sector to ensure sustainability.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
To train in aspects of basic rudiments of borehole sitting and drilling in such a way that they will be able to manage geophysical survey and borehole drilling teams.
